PRAYER Rx --- September 24
Dear Lord, let us pause to take stock of our country, for which so many have given their lives. We thank You for such dedication and for our opportunities, made possible through their sacrifices. As we look around at corruption in high places and at leadership that winks at immorality, let us not take this as license, but rather as a challenge for each of us to guard our own integrity. ... Remind us that You are our leader - our God - and that our nation will be strengthened or weakened by the actions of each individual citizen, lest we be held responsible for our short-sightedness and for the destruction of our nation. Help us to seek Your guidance for our immediate families, and for all other families in America, so that our nation's direction may be pleasing to You.
