PRAYER Rx --- August 30
Dear heavenly Father, help me to review Your truths, that I may have watered down or chosen to ignore. A sin is not "missing the mark" as the Greeks, who had many gods, defined it. It is a sin because You defined it as such, and You are sovereign. ... Fornication, adultery, homosexuality, the killing of the unborn, abusing one's body -- all are an abomination to You and grieve Your Spirit. ... Help me to realize that You loved me so much that You sent Your Son to redeem my sins. Help me, for I often I find it hard to forgive myself.
