PRAYER Rx --- July 24
Dear Lord, as You seek to purify Your church today, staying in my closet to pray and hoping to escape society's problems will not be enough, will it? ... Remind me that You are counting on us who call ourselves by Your name -- we Christians -- to represent You in this fractured world of today. ... You not only want me to do good deeds and tell others about You, but there comes a time when I must recognize that there is a "spiritual battle" being waged.* Like it or not, I will have to take a stand at some point, either for You, or against You by default. It's my call, isn't it?
