Dear Lord, You have a way of humbling us, of bringing us as a nation to our knees. Then and only then do we realize how completely we must depend on You. ... Forgive us for forgetting, and for making money, riches, and material gain our top priorities. ... Bring us back to the reality of being Your people, and of walking in FAITH. You alone are our source, our provider, our security, and our God.
