PRAYER Rx --- July 5
Dear Lord Jesus, we cry out for peace, but there can be no real peace until You return, because we are caught up in a climaxing "spiritual battle" for men's souls. You have said that even the "elect" may be deceived. ... You are asking us to choose between humanistic philosophies, other gods, and Your unadulterated Word, aren't You? ... Remind us that You set limits when You defended Your Father's house against the money-changers, commanding them not to make it into a den of robbers. ... Forgive us today, and forgive me, for often by my silence I have allowed others to legalize what You have called "immorality." Oh Lord, give me the courage to defend You as Joshua did, and say: "... as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."*
