PRAYER Rx --- June 24
Dear Lord, when did You separate the sacred from the secular -- in healing the blind man, or feeding the five thousand, or in driving out the money changers? When did You compartmentalize Your life? ... What part of my life is not sacred -- my business dealings, my government responsibilities, my family relationships, my time spent in school or college? ... Am I to be a Sunday Christian only? Were You? ... If I truly want to be a Christian in my heart, then there is no time at which I can leave my heart at home on the shelf, is there?
In Your holy name I pray.
