PRAYER Rx --- June 14
Dear Lord, as we observe Flag Day on this June 14th in the U.S.A., let us revere You as our forefathers did, and honor our flag -- the symbol of our freedom, for which so many have given their lives. ... Let us pause to assess our country: we see corruption in high places, and leaders who wink at immorality and thus threaten the very family values that made this nation great. ... Remind us that we still declare that we are "one nation under God," and that as a nation we will be strengthened or weakened by the degree of integrity that we demand of ourselves individually! ... Oh Lord, we sincerely pray that You will raise up righteous leaders for our nation, and that You will give us the wisdom to recognize and support them. Let all that we do be pleasing in Your sight.
