PRAYER Rx --- June 6
Dear Lord, You know that it is not easy to be a farmer -- to raise one's family, flocks or herds, and crops of grain, vegetables or fruit to feed others, while being dependent upon favorable weather conditions to make these crops grow! ... However, you never promised that life would be easy, only that You would be there to help us if we would but believe and trust in You! ... Help me to learn to count my many blessings -- the quiet, awesome, breath-taking beauty of the first rays of a sunrise, or the closing rays of a beautiful sunset after a hard day's work! ... Thank You, Lord God, for all of my blessings, for the chance to raise my family, to be of service to others, and for my special quiet times with You!
