Dear Lord, let us each stop to consider the influence that Christianity, when correctly practiced, has had on many civilizations of the last two millennia. ... Remind us as citizens of these United States of America that it was our Judeo- Christian roots that helped us to become a nation worthy of Your blessings. ... No other so-called democracy has lasted as long. And yet today, we are arrogant enough to think that "we can do it better our own way!" Many give You only lip-service, until the time comes when they face a national catastrophic situation. ... What will You say to those who choose to follow "other gods," often of their own making? (Continued tomorrow)
