PRAYER Rx --- February 14
Dear Lord, let this be a day to show love to a dear one. As a husband, remind me to show love for my wife in a special way -- some unexpected surprise, time out to especially thank her for the many roles she plays to make our lives together a success. ... This day, as a wife, teach me to be sensitive to the needs of my husband and my children. Sometimes, Lord, I am physically exhausted, but remind me that sometimes their days are like that too. Help me to see that at such times, it is more important that we all take time to share our problems than it is to have a meal on time! ... Oh Lord, help us as a family to appreciate each other, and to express our love for each other. ... Help us as parents to teach our children that we as a family need You as our center; show us how to pray together, that we may seek Your guidance for our lives, as we seek to live in Your will.
