PRAYER Rx --- January 30
Dear Lord, I said that I loved You, but clouds started to gather 'round. ... I said I trusted You, then I lost my job. ... I said You wanted only good for me, and sickness stalked my family. ... Oh Lord, I try so hard to be a Christian - why me? ... Then in my despair I cried out to You for help, and You said, "I thought you'd never ask!" ... Oh Lord, what lengths You went to, to get my attention! Help me to learn not to lean on my own understanding, but rather to turn to You for the answers to my problems.* ... Help me, for often I find that I am unable to help myself. I do need You! Help me to be patient.
