Dear Lord, during this Advent Season let us each realize the world's acute need for You. Help all Christians everywhere to more fully understand the significance of Your gift of Your Son, and His example of living out Your will. ...During this pre-Christmas time, let us each spend some quiet time searching our souls, and questioning whether our minds are tracking Your Spirit's leading. No longer can we be Sunday-only Christians. You demand that we reflect You in all of our dealings - in business and politics, at home, at school, with acquaintances and friends. ... Remind us each to take time to pray for our nation, lest we fine that the very heart and soul of its morality have been lost among our crumpled Christmas wrappings, because we neglected to pray.
