PRAYER Rx --- January 16
Dear Lord Jesus, forgive me for passing hurriedly over "forgive us our sins," while contentedly thinking, "I have not committed murder, or stolen, or cheated on my income tax, etc." Remind me, Lord, that for a "growing" Christian, worry, doubt, fear, ill temper, despondency, impatience, selfishness, insensitivity, and lack of love are "sins," in that they separate me from You. ... Help me to turn to You in order to receive the insight and strength that I need to walk as You walked. ... Help me to call upon Your name, that I may be saved from my sins.
In Your holy name I pray.
