PRAYER Rx --- October 16
Dear Lord Jesus, the more time I spend with the Holy Spirit's leading in reading Your words, the more I learn! Remind me of these insights I have gleaned -- a Christian is a person who is dedicated to Your service, a special person in Your sight, whose calling is to leave this world a better place because of what You have led him to do. ... A Christian knows his heavenly Father, and he has forged a relationship with Him. A Christian knows who God the Father is, and he seeks to "enjoy Him forever!" He knows that the safest place to be is in the center of the Father's will. ... He seeks to discover the Father's will and, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to be obedient to it. ... Help me as I try to live out these things that I am beginning to understand, for I am weak at times. Give me the strength to keep trying, that I may give You glory in all of my actions.
